Geologists have completed a study of Bull Creek groundwater

posted Jan 19, 2011 10:24 AM by Tami Tolbert Kagy
Bull Creek could suffer extensive damage if the construction of a nearby shaft for Water Treatment Plant #4 is not handled carefully. That finding comes from an impact-assessment by geologists, looking at the risk to Bull Creek-groundwater. The good news, they also found the risk is gone, once the tunnels are built.

Watershed Protection Department's Chuck Lesniak  says they will focus on one shaft at 2222 and River Place Boulevard to prevent environmental damage when moving forward with construction of the controversial water treatment plant.
