This project, called "Jollyville Transmission Mains Tunnel", will impact us severely over the next several years. In fact, that impact has started already. Word of the shaft plans is now out, and In June, 2010, we learned of the first home sale to fall through because of it. It will not get better: home sales, property values, shaft-site noise, loss-of-use of our home-offices or backyards, safety for our kids walking, biking, or running at CVMS, disruptive truck noise and its effect on kids learning at CVMS, traffic congestion.
Here is a presentation of some of the highlights and a more detailed spreadsheet of all concerns, with the documentation to back up each claim (a work in progress)..
Greg Meszaros sent this memo to City Council in which he made several claims about the Hybrid-620 route we proposed. Some of those claims make no sense to us, and directly contradict other factual information already known to AWU. Here are some of our questions and issues about those claims. You can also see how we calculate our numbers, using information AWU has provided us, guessing at information they have not or will not provide us, and researching the rest. |
